SMaK Fitness Academy & Boxing Club provides fitness training to through the use of boxing style training. No prior boxing or fitness experience is necessary. During each 75 minute session, members will cycle through stations while following a boxing timer of a 3 minute boxing period and a 30 second rest period. Members will learn:
* How to properly wrap their hands * Proper stance and footwork * Punch combinations * How to jump rope * How to hit heavy bags and punch mitts * Defensive Maneuvers & Self-defense Techniques * Reaction & counter punching * Increased upper & lower body strength * Increased speed * Balance & coordination
